Let your little ones get their hands dirty at the Worthington Farmers Market this weekend! Visit the RED information tent at the NE corner of New England and High, and let your kids play in the dirt and plants seeds for their very own take-home garden.

Once per month (the third Saturday), our "Friends of the Market" volunteer group hosts a kids activity designed to engage your children in the food system. Whether it's kneading bread dough, making instruments with Shagbark black beans, or tasting the rainbow, we make food fun for your kids!

Plant Fest returns this Saturday from 9am-4pm on the Village Green! 

Herb and vegetable plants from Worthington Farmers Market vendors, truckloads of flowers from Ohio nurseries, utilitarian and decorative homemade crafts, and selected food concessions will be located on the South greens in the heart of Olde Worthington. Celebrate the return of gardening season by stocking up on flowers, vegetables, herbs and decorative plants to enhance your landscape.

See the circus for FREE and help those in need by donating non perishable food items or personal care items to Healthy Worthington Resource Center and Food Pantry! A donation of 10 canned food items will get you one ticket voucher to see Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents DRAGONS at the Schott. Donations accepted from 10am to 12pm at the Worthington Farmers Market THIS SATURDAY. Limit of 4 ticket vouchers per family.

The Worthington Farmers Market may look a little different in the coming weeks. When the market moves outside in two weeks, you'll find a host of new vendors, and LOTS of new options! Among them, more than a dozen protein options including bison, fish, and lamb.

In 21 days, the Worthington Farmers Market will move outdoors to the sidewalks of Olde Worthington! Our best selection to date, the market will host more than 80 vendors from around the state. The market will be open from 8am to 12pm every Saturday starting May 4th.

And don't forget, we are proud to host a weekly Cookbook Exchange at the market information table. Bring your gently-used cookbooks to swap for another. It’s a great opportunity to find a new home for your unwanted cookbooks, meet fellow foodies, and leave with inspiration!
