National Farmers Market Week

"What are you doing August 7 through 13? That’s National Farmers Market Week – a time to celebrate the farmers, ranchers and local food businesses, as well as the communities that support them. USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack has officially declared August 7 through August 13, 2016 as the 17th annual National Farmers Market Week, highlighting the key role that farmers markets play in bringing communities together around agriculture. And with more than 8,500 farmers markets around the country, there are lots of opportunities to celebrate!"

Our Event: Chef in the Market

New this season, Chef and founder of Little Eater and author of the recently debuted cookbook "The Vegetable Butcher," Cara Mangini along with her Little Eater team will demonstrate recipes using seasonal ingredients from Worthington Farmers Market vendors. They will celebrate Ohio products, educate and inspire home cooks.


Demonstrations will take place on June 11, July 9, August 13, September 10 and October 8, starting at 10:00 am on the Dewey's plaza (inside House Wine if it's raining). Demos are free and seating/standing room is first come, first served. For those who would like to make a donation of any amount, please visit the market information tent on the northeast corner of New England and High.
