Won't you be our valentine?
There are plenty of gift options for Valentine's Day... A card, roses, chocolate... But how about something delicious (and local) from the Worthington Farmers Market? Here are a few things we recommend for your valentine this year.
Wake your sweetie with the smell and taste of locally roasted coffee from Sliver Bridge Coffee Company. Their Salted Caramel or Dark Chocolate Cherry make a great addition to any Valentine gift. Or maybe you've had your eye on a certain someone... How about a bag of Jamaican Me Crazy!
And who doesn't love sweets? Say it all with Valentine Sugar Cookies from Sassafras Bakery. Choose elegant cupids and hearts, or sweet ‘n sassy pastel conversation hearts that deliciously share your feelings! Cookies not your things? Try a Chocolate Raspberry Mini Tart to share, or a Kiss Cake. Kiss Cakes are moist red velvet cakes and cinnamon buttercream dipped in rich dark chocolate.
We also have cupcakes and other confections from Jenn’s Cupcakes & Confections. Why not try a
Coconut Caramel Macchiato or Red Raspberry Chocolate Ganache cupcake, or a Chocolate Covered Oreos in Valentine’s Day themes.
Making dinner for someone special? Visit Oink Moo Cluck for a fine selection of steaks or Speckled Hen for Cornish Hens.
And when dinner's over, finish with a homemade gourmet brownie from The Brown and Blond Bakery! Kathy's Dark Chocolate Brownies are so easy to make, super moist, and have wonderful flavor. When serving, place the brownie on the plate and top it with a dollop of Snowville's Creme Fraiche and your sweetie's favorite fresh berries. (And depending on serving size, this dessert can be under 300 calories!)
Happy Valentine's Day from the Worthington Farmers Market!
